Total Media GroupTotal Media Group recently wrapped production of a 60-minute documentary on the life of Academy Award winning actress Rosalind Russell. Sassy, classy and brassy, raven-haired Rosalind Russell entranced audiences as a no-nonsense newspaper reporter in 1940’s His Girl Friday (with Cary Grant) and, in the Broadway production and the film of Auntie Mame, made the title character the role of her lifetime. Life is a Banquet uses rare footage obtained through Russell's family as well as clips from her best work to shine a deserving spotlight on the renowned star and philanthropist. The film is narrated by Academy Award winning actress Kathleen Turner and features interviews of Tom Brokaw, Tina Sinatra, Haley Mills, famed designer James Galanos and a host of others. The film is expected to air on PBS in the fall of 2009. The film was produced and directed by Jonathon Gruber. Executive Producer was Aldo Panattoni.  Edited by Atticus-Culver Reese. Smoke Editor Toshi Onuki. Funding for the project was provided by the Bob and Connie Lurie Foundation.
